As a Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Nuclear team assisting in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial resources of the project
  • Assist in maximising gross profit for projects
  • Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, and value work performed by sub‑contractors
  • Help prepare and submit tenders and contract documents
  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements
Qualifications
  • Students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • 8‑week placement across July and August; must return to university upon completion
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ideally hold a full driving licence
