Qualifications

  • Current student undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Will return to university after the 8-week placement (July – August).
  • Hold a full driving licence.

Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor

Work with the Construction team assisting in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, gaining hands‑on experience under mentorship.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial resources of the project
  • Assist in maximising gross profit for projects
  • Assess, review and mitigate commercial/contractual risks and value work executed by subcontractors
  • Help prepare and submit tenders and contract documents
  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements
Qualifications
  • Current student undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
  • Will return to university after the 8‑week placement (July – August)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
