Job summary

British Airways is offering a 10-week Summer Internship based at London Heathrow, with a £26,000 pro-rata salary. You’ll work across Head Office or Engineering functions, tackling projects and daily tasks while learning from experienced colleagues in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Applicants should be returning to university after the placement and have a minimum predicted 2:2 degree. This internship helps you build network, leadership skills and explore careers within BA.

What You’ll Be Doing

Get a taste of our Graduate Programmes with this exciting Internship. It may only last the summer, but you’ll pack plenty in. Depending on your interests and area of study, you could be based in either one of our Head Office functions or within our Engineering department, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll complete projects, business as usual tasks, and activities that make a real difference to our business - all while working alongside knowledgeable colleagues who’ll guide and support you. It’s a true experience of what it is like to work in a corporate environment. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to build your network with the Graduate community and learn about other areas of the business too. We’ve always been interested in different perspectives and viewpoints. Fresh thinking and new ideas. So we encourage applicants from any degree field.

The internship is tailored to every individual, based on your career ambitions, strengths, areas of development and where we have exciting projects, you will grow in confidence, increase your employability and grow your leadership skills.
