Job summary

Arup’s Belfast Building Services internship invites students to join a multidisciplinary team for a 6-week program. You will support engineers, help prepare designs, and gain hands-on exposure to design workflows on live projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an MEng/BEng in Electrical or Building Services, aiming for a 2.1 or higher, and have a passion for sustainable building design. The role offers training, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through modules completed.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service to clients on projects.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain understanding of a design engineer role.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services across multi‑disciplinary teams.
