Balfour Beatty Power T&D is seeking an experienced Site Manager - Substations for the Apollo Project in Woolavington, Bridgwater. You will lead the on-site team to deliver critical electricity transmission infrastructure safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You will coordinate site operations, supervise subcontractors, implement RAMS, and promote Zero Harm through robust safe working practices. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential to drive productivity and compliant

• Deliver works in line with programme, cost, quality, and compliance requirements
• Plan works, allocate resources, and drive productivity on site
• Monitor progress and implement short interval control and performance tracking
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Implement technical drawings and specifications into delivery
• Champion Zero Harm, ensuring safe systems of work are in place and followed
• Produce and review RAMS, carry out safety tours, and support incident investigations
• Ensure workforce competency, welfare, and behavioural safety standards
• Identify, manage, and escape

Balfour Beatty Power T&D is seeking an experienced Site Manager - Substations to join our team on the exciting Apollo Project in Woolavington, Bridgwater.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering major electricity transmission infrastructure projects that support the UKs energy network. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing site operations, ensuring construction activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
