Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is recruiting Wiremen for a major substation project at Dinorwig Power Station. Four positions available with start ASAP and end date 30 October 2026. The role demands 50 hours per week, paid under LTD/Umbrella, with overtime rates applying after standard hours.

Work is site-based and requires electrical qualifications. Candidates should have at least 1 year in substation panels or 2 years in related electrical settings, be able to read drawings, and comply with high

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with relevant certification.
• Experience in substation environments is preferred.
• Able to read electrical drawings and interpret diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wiring and electrical installation in a substation.
• Work from electrical drawings and mark up drawings as required.
• Complete task cards within the required timescales.
• Follow site health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Adhere to instructions from Site Supervisor or Chargehand.
• Highlight issues or delays proactively and maintain documentation.
