A regional hospital trust in Chester is seeking a part-time Consultant Orthodontist. The role involves delivering orthodontic services and requires full GDC registration. Ideal candidates will have MOrth or equivalent qualifications and be adept at integrating within a professional team. The Countess of Chester Hospital is pleased to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated team player to join our well established Orthodontic and Oral and Maxillofacial team. The purpose of this post is to ensure that a comprehensive Orthodontic service is provided to the population served by The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be expected to integrate within the existing clinical team.
The appointee will be responsible for the provision of orthodontic assessment, advice, planning and care of patients referred to the Trust. This is a part-time substantive Consultant appointment in Orthodontics based on 5 Programmed Activities per week. The post has arisen due to a partial retirement within the team, and the candidate will be expected to integrate within the team of existing consultants to provide a complete Orthodontic service for the patients served by the Trust.
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and to Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership. Services are provided from three locations:
