A charity focused on recovery is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Practitioner to support individuals at HMP Belmarsh. The role involves providing harm reduction and recovery support, managing caseloads, and advocating for service users. The ideal candidate will have a background in health and social care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Substance Use Practitioner to join our team at HMP Belmarsh, supporting positive change and making a lasting impact.
As a Substance Use Practitioner you will be providing harm reduction to those with substance use issues and supporting them in their recovery through relapse prevention and care planning. You will also act as an advocate for these service users, signposting and referring to the necessary agencies in order to support them in their recovery holistically.
This role will be Monday – Friday (every other Friday off) with occasional Saturday working as part of a rota.
