Job summary

SubSea Craft Limited, a UK-based maritime technology company, is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to join our team. You will create and develop solutions to mechanical problems across systems, products and user experience, using 3D CAD and producing 2D drawings, ideally Autodesk Inventor.

You will justify solutions with engineering calculations, work with the engineering project team to meet schedules, report progress, and support leads to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in mechanical or marine engineering.
• Engineering creativity and willingness to push boundaries.
• Design/build experience with mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop solutions to mechanical problems to meet requirements at systems, product and user experience level.
• Experience in 3D CAD and producing 2D Drawings, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
• Justify solutions with engineering calculations and analysis.
• Work with the engineering project team to deliver within scheduled timeframes.
• Report progress and identify strengths and weaknesses in delivery.
• Support the Mechanical Leads to provide insight into improved ways of working.
• Compliant with all aspects of company legislative compliance, HSE, HR etc
