Qualifications

• Experience in the design of fixed firefighting systems, ideally in complex environments.
• Proven ability in delivering lifecycle projects from concept to commissioning.
• Experience with firefighting hose reels, pumps, and water mist systems.

Responsibilities

• Design of Firefighting and/or SMERAS systems for the Royal Navy submarines.
• Produce design documentation and safety justifications.
• Support specification qualification and procurement of components.

Skills

Design of fixed firefighting systems

High-pressure systems experience

Leadership in project delivery

Knowledge of firefighting equipment

Familiarity with systems in safety-critical environments

Education

Chartered engineer or working towards accreditation
