Job description

We are looking to recruit a talented Chemistry teacher who is able to bring their enthusiasm and strong subject knowledge to enable further development of Chemistry in the School. The successful candidate will join a friendly, welcoming and exciting department of four full-time talented and committed teachers and a dedicated technician. They will have the opportunity to teach KS3 up to A'level, as well as contribute to our science themed enrichment programmes. Chemistry is a popular subject within our large sixth form - we currently have approximately 200 students studying the subject at A-level across 8 classes. We look to plan collaboratively in teams wherever possible, sharing resources to allow us to spend our time focusing on practice and minimising workload. We will have high expectations of you to be an outstanding role model committed to the distinctive ethos of our School, where we strive for academic excellence, underpinned by character education.
