The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College in Newbold on Avon is seeking an inspirational Subject Leader for Geography to lead our geography department, ensure high standards of teaching and learning, and shape the curriculum to reflect changing global landscapes.

The successful candidate will have QTS with outstanding geography teaching, strong subject knowledge, and proven leadership ability to mentor staff, develop colleagues, and drive student progress across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will be responsible for leading thegeography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, andoverseeing a curriculum that reflects the rapidly changing physical and humanlandscapes of the 21st century.

The ability to teach another Humanities subject,enriching the learning experiences of our students, would be an advantage.
