Avanti Fields School is seeking an inspiring Subject Lead for Geography, with middle leadership responsibility for the subject, working closely with the Head of Humanities and History Lead.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead a high‑quality Geography curriculum that is ambitious, well sequenced and inclusive, promoting curiosity about the world and supporting strong outcomes for all pupils.
The successful candidate will lead curriculum planning, assessment and resourcing within Geography, monitor standards and drive subject improvement.
As a subject leader, you will support and develop colleagues, promote consistently high expectations in teaching and learning, and embed literacy, numeracy and digital skills across the subject, while modelling excellent classroom practice.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith‑designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022.
