A global leader in Aerospace and Defence is seeking a Procurement Specialist to coordinate and manage procurement processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, understand contract terms, and effectively use SAP. Ensure effective procurement processes of goods and other services, components and materials, on time and on budget and in line with technical requirements. You will coordinate and manage the procurement processes of goods, professional and other services, components and materials, in line with current strategies, procedures and operational plans. You will coordinate the operational management of purchases related to the product categories under responsibility (e.g., monitoring Requisitions, issuing Orders), as well as program procurement management within IPTs.
This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
