A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Sub Assembly Technician to join their team. The role focuses on assembling engine components with precision and detail. The role involves assembling, dismantling, measuring, and rebuilding engine components in accordance with Gibson’s processes and methods. In this role you will join a team of highly skilled professionals who are committed to ensuring every engine is built to a very high level of quality. This full time, factory-based role presents a great opportunity for a person who is highly motivated and can adopt a flexible approach to problem solving within a team environment.

You’re a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in doing things right the first time. You have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with precision, and understand the importance of quality in every component you assemble.
You will bring experience from a manufacturing, engineering, or assembly environment — ideally working with mechanical or electrical components. You’re comfortable reading technical drawings or build instructions, and you know your way around a range of hand and power tools.
Teamwork comes naturally to you, and you’re just as happy working independently as you are collaborating with others to meet production goals. You take ownership of your work, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and are always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team, working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm. Due to the location, we recommend applicants have access to their own vehicle.
