A leading civil engineering contractor in Helensburgh is seeking a Sub Agent for a major project at Faslane. The successful candidate will manage daily operations on site and support Site Agents in delivering projects on time. Ideal candidates will have a degree in civil engineering and at least 2 years’ experience. A competitive salary of up to £50,000 and an attractive benefits package are provided.

Search are actively seeking a Sub Agent for a major civil engineering project across Faslane on behalf of one of our key clients who is an established contractor in the civil engineering and marine sectors.

Our client

• Our client is a contractor who has been operating for over 70 years across the UK working across a number of Joint Ventures, Public-Private Partnerships and alternative forms of contract on well-known and celebrated projects;
• Well-respected and successful, our client has secured a substantial contract and are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join their team;

What you’ll be doing

• The successful Sub Agent will be working on a large civil engineering / marine project across at Faslane;
• Support the Site Agents in managing the daily operations on site and ensure project timescales are met within a safe and accurate fashion,
• Reporting daily to the Site Agents on key aspects of progress issues and concerns,
• Contribute and help to ensure that success throughout all projects is achieved by delivering the programme on time,
• Support Site Engineers on site,
• Any other sub agents duties as required.

What you’ll need to be successful

• Ideally, the candidate will be degree-educated within civil engineering;
• At least 2 years' experience as a Sub Agent;
• Previous civil engineering, NEC and Microsoft Project experience is essential;
• Substation experience is highly desirable;
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS, is essential;
• Ability to commute to site is essential;
• SC Clearance or ability to get SC Cleared is essential.
