Job summary

KierBAM is seeking a Sub-Agent to lead a large civil engineering team at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. This role requires driving safe, quality delivery across all assigned areas and collaborating with clients, designers and the supply chain.

You will mentor team members and monitor progress against programmes and methods. The ideal candidate holds a Degree or HND in Engineering and possesses CSCS Level certification, SSSTS qualification, and demonstrable Section Engineer experience with a strong

Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
CSCS Level – Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
SSSTS qualification held.
Demonstrable experience at Section Engineer level.
Strong focus on safety, quality and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all areas of the project assigned, ensuring safe and quality delivery.
Communicate effectively with site management, technical specialists, commercial staff and client representatives.
Lead, supervise and mentor team members while upholding high health and safety standards.
Monitor delivery against programmes and methods; identify issues and plan mitigations.
Manage commercial forecasting and reporting; maintain relations with clients, designers and supply chain.
