Job summary

A leading professional solutions firm is seeking a Sub-Agent for the NetZero Project in Teesside. The role involves overseeing heavy civil works, supporting site engineers, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in large-scale projects and strong practical skills in earthworks and drainage. This is a 12-month initial contract with a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy civil works on large-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience with earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete works, and concrete pours.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support section and site engineers in supervising on-site activities.

Job description

Sub-Agent - NetZero Project (Teesside)

Location: Teesside

Contract: 12-month initial contract (up to Jan 2027)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Inside IR35

Rate: £(Apply online only)/day

Key Responsibilities

Support section and site engineers in supervising on-site activities.

Oversee and coordinate heavy civil works, including:

• Earthworks
• Drainage installations
• Reinforced concrete (RC) works
• Concrete pours

Ensure work is completed to specification, on time, and in line with Health & Safety requirements.

Assist with setting out and monitoring progress of civil works.

Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and project teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in heavy civil works on large-scale projects.

Hands‑on experience with earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete works, and concrete pours.

Strong Health & Safety knowledge; SMSTS/SSSTS/CSES preferred.

Experience working in complex, major projects is an advantage (e.g., large substations or infrastructure sites).

"Boots on the ground" practical experience required.

Software & Training

Generic CAD and Microsoft Office skills desirable.

Primavera P6 is a bonus.

Environmental and site‑specific software training will be provided on‑site.
