We are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major heavy civils project in Newcastle. This is a long‑term opportunity supporting complex structural, earthworks and reinforced concrete operations on a high‑value scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Agent and Project Manager with daily delivery of site activities.
• Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, plant and materials to meet programme milestones.
• Lead setting‑out verification, quality checks and ITP management.
• Oversee H&S compliance, ensuring RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are followed.
• Manage reporting, site records, and progress updates.
• Resolve technical queries and support delivery of temporary works.
• Maintain strong communication with client reps, design teams and internal departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Site Engineer on heavy civils projects (earthworks, structures, RC, highways, or major infrastructure).
• Strong technical background with excellent understanding of QA processes.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid (or equivalent).
• Ability to lead teams, problem‑solve and drive productivity.
• Confident managing technical documentation and site compliance.
