We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading rail and civil engineering contractor for a Site Agent to oversee the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary rail and infrastructure schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key management role within a business recognised for delivering complex, safety-critical projects across the UK.

As a Scheme Project Manager, you will:

* Take ownership of rail and civil engineering schemes from design through to completion.
* Develop and manage programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
* Lead project teams, including engineers, planners, and subcontractors.
* Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of communication and satisfaction.
* Oversee risk management, compliance, and change control processes.
* Ensure full compliance with rail standards, safety requirements, and quality systems.
* Provide progress reports and forecasts to senior management.

We're looking for someone who has:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scheme Project Manager in the rail or civil engineering sector.
* Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure projects (civils, structures, or multi-disciplinary).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Commercial awareness with experience in cost management and contract administration.
* Knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures (desirable).
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
