Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated Study Programme Leader Electrical to deliver level 1 and level 2 within our thriving Construction faculty at our Witney Campus. You’ll blend classroom teaching with hands-on workshop delivery, equipping learners with practical skills, technical knowledge, and confidence to thrive in the electrical industry. We welcome both experienced educators and seasoned industry professionals who can inspire others and will support development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Level 1 & 2 Electrical Installation lessons aligned with industry standards.
  • Plan and assess theory and practical sessions, ensuring safety and relevance.
  • Support learners academically and pastorally, promoting achievement and progression.
  • Maintain workshop standards and equipment, ensuring safe and effective learning.
  • Liaise with industry partners to embed employability and current practices.
  • Manage assessments, exam entries, and contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance.
Essential Experience
  • Electrical Installation qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2365/2330, NVQ Level 3, AM2).
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of current practices and 18th Edition standards.
  • Experience delivering practical/theoretical content at Levels 1 & 2.
  • Strong organisational and learner support skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Assessor/IQA qualifications.
  • FE or training provider experience.
  • Industry liaison and curriculum enhancement.
  • Workshop and quality improvement contributions.
  • Professional body membership (e.g. IET).

Salary: £44,558 - £49,294 per annum
