As a Study Director within Environmental Fate, you'll be at the forefront of leading the design, execution and reporting of OECD Environmental Fate studies, working within a close-knit team in state-of-the-art laboratories just a stone's throw from the sea.

Responsibilities
  • Leading studies to ensure timely, on-budget delivery in line with regulatory guidelines
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination
  • Overseeing all aspects of studies, from sample preparation to final report
  • Preparing and reviewing study plans, SOPs, and reports
  • Supporting client visits and external audits
  • Collaborating across departments and working independently as needed
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current with industry advancements
Qualifications
  • A degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific field
  • Experience as a Study Director, running OECD Environmental Fate studies
  • Advanced knowledge of working with radiochemicals (14C and 3H) and working with a range of instrumentation such as LSC, radio-HPLC, radio-TLC
  • A drive for continuous improvement, ability to think commercially and scientifically - helping deliver beyond expectations
