Overview
Job Purpose: Are you looking to support students to develop their independence and autonomy at University? Helping them to overcome issues such as transition to HE, time keeping; organisational skills. If you're looking for a rewarding job with fulfilling outcomes, then this could be the job for you! Candidate MUST be available 9:00-17:00 on Tuesdays weekly.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and reassurance for students adapting to the academic demands of higher education
- Helping a student manage their anxiety levels
- To help the student maintain their motivation
- To assist students with transition to university by helping them to understand the routine of university life
- To support the student with organisation, time and diary management
- Ensuring the student is aware of upcoming deadlines or exams
- Support with building independence and helping encourage communication with peers and staff
- To support with finding the correct resources for work or assignments
- To liaise with Randstad (and the Disability support team, where appropriate) regarding student progress or on any matters regarding a student\'s support needs or well-being.
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree, equivalent qualification or be working towards a degree (in final years)
- Disability support training (provided by Randstad E-Learning)
- Completion of e-learning suite (provided by Randstad)

- Knowledge of Higher Education
