Job summary

Spectrum.Life is seeking an experienced video editor for a fixed-term six-month role based in Manchester. You will edit studio sessions, support recording days and ensure polished content aligns with brand guidelines.

The team collaborates closely with producers and presenters to meet schedules. Ideal candidates have at least three years of video editing experience, strong Premiere Pro skills and hands-on studio experience with cameras, lighting, and audio.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of professional video editing experience.
Strong Adobe Premiere Pro skills.
Experience operating studio cameras, audio and lighting.

Responsibilities

Edit studio-recorded video from rough cut to final delivery, including trimming, colour correction, sound mixing, captions and subtitles.
Create motion graphics and on-screen elements where needed, in line with brand guidelines.
Set up and operate studio equipment, cameras, lighting and audio, for scheduled recording sessions.
Organise, label and back up footage, and keep project files and versions tidy.
Work with producers and presenters to understand briefs, manage feedback rounds and hit turnaround deadlines.
Check every output for quality and brand consistency before it goes out.
Flag technical or workflow issues early and suggest practical improvements.
