Job description

We’re looking for a Studio Manager to make sure everything runs smoothly in London.

About

This role doesn’t come up often. In fact, the last time was five years ago. There’s only ever one Studio Manager at DNCO and they are pivotal to everything we do — think hotel concierge meets office maestro. They’re the steady hand and the fast thinker. The welcoming face and the problem-solver. The organiser of great meetings and even better parties. They make sure the studio runs smoothly, looks great, and feels like the best place to do brilliant work.

They are:

  • A natural multitasker and context-switcher
  • A champion of studio culture and team morale
  • A proactive doer with a positive bias for action

In short, they're the oil that keeps the whole machine running beautifully.

We’re on the lookout for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Studio Manager to keep our London studio running seamlessly. You’ll be the friendly face and calm voice that clients, suppliers, and guests encounter first—think hotel concierge meets office maestro.

Key responsibilities

Studio Operations

  • Keep the studio in top shape: stocked, organised, and running smoothly
  • Manage supplies, materials, and ensure everything from printers to air conditioning is in working order
  • Oversee general upkeep, liaise with cleaners, and handle any maintenance issues
  • Create a space where the team can thrive, whether it’s ensuring the coffee’s hot or keeping the atmosphere energised

Front of House

  • Be the first point of contact for guests, clients, and phone calls — always professional, friendly, and welcoming
  • Manage meeting rooms and ensure every visit feels five-star
  • Keep the studio looking sharp, presentable, and ready for action

Team Support & Wellbeing

  • Organise team lunches, social events, and wellbeing perks
  • Stay tuned in to the team’s energy, whether it’s arranging a last-minute treat or offering support during busy periods
  • Suggest and coordinate initiatives to keep the team inspired, connected, and at their best

Diary & Administrative Management

  • Manage the calendars of our Founding and Innovation Directors, scheduling meetings, avoiding clashes, and keeping things on track
  • Handle our general DNCO inbox, ensuring every message reaches the right person
  • Oversee orders and shipping for our online shop

Additional Support

Occasionally assist with social media, studio events, and exhibitions.

What we‘re looking for

You’re methodical, thorough, and always bring fresh ideas to the table. A natural problem-solver, you thrive in a dynamic environment and stay two steps ahead. You’re warm, approachable, and always ready to make someone’s day a little better.

The essentials

  • Full-time, based at our London studio
  • Monday–Friday, 9am–5.30pm
  • £28,000 per annum
  • Become part of a 100% employee-owned company
  • Company pension scheme
  • Private healthcare with access to physical and mental health rewards and benefits
  • Cycle purchase scheme
