IT Systems Analysts are cross‑functional problem solvers who specialise in improving the way IT services are delivered and consumed across PlayStation Studios. Drawing from their technical and operational experience in studio environments, they analyse workflows, document requirements, and collaborate across Studio IT, SIE IT, and Sony Global IT to ensure scalable, secure, and studio‑aware solutions. You love staying up to date on the latest production and computing technology and use your technical wizardry to solve complex problems. Your customer service skills drive your work, and you flourish in a deadline‑driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze studio-facing IT processes and identify opportunities for improvement, alignment, or automation
  • Collaborate with IT service owners to adapt and pilot solutions that meet both compliance requirements and studio operational needs

  • Support the integration of newly acquired studios or third‑party vendors into SIE systems and workflows
  • Document operational processes in clear, reusable formats to support global adoption and handoff
  • Help align InfoSec requirements with studio workflows to avoid friction and ensure security readiness
  • Participate in cross‑regional initiatives and drive consistency without eliminating necessary local flexibility
  • Track progress, maintain visibility into ongoing initiatives, and elevate risk when needed
  • Assist with user account management across multiple systems and services, including Active Directory, Active Roles, and production applications (Perforce, Adobe, M365).
  • Act as a liaison across multiple teams to ensure IT infrastructure and services align with business requirements.
  • Regularly assess IT infrastructure and processes to provide recommendations for enhancements of performance and stability and efficiency.
  • Document system configuration, workflow, network diagrams and process changes
  • Assist in maintenance of enterprise storage systems, including hardware/firmware upgrades, volume management and performance tuning.
  • Assist with data center management, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking and implementing data center best practices.
  • Apply and streamline regular patching mechanisms for Windows and Linux endpoints and servers.
Qualifications
  • Background in IT operations or systems administration, preferably in a game development environment
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and translate high‑level goals into process improvements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage self‑directed initiatives, coordinate across teams, and track tasks using platforms like JIRA, Confluence, and Miro
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation within IT environments; experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python required (other scripting languages such as JavaScript, SQL, PHP, or Visual Basic are welcome)
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Active Directory/Active Roles, endpoint management systems (e.g., Ivanti), and ITSM suites (e.g., ServiceNow) Well‑versed in configuring and supporting computer hardware; desktops and servers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross‑functional environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently across distributed teams and time zones
  • Familiarity with InfoSec, IAM, and vendor lifecycle best practices a plus
  • Proficiency with NAS device management and optimization
  • DNS and DHCP management (via Infoblox is a plus)
  • Proficiency with remote management and monitoring tools
  • Networking experience is a plus
  • Linux configuration management is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
