Job summary

Hkjewellery in Hitchin is seeking a Jewellery CAD, Casting & Workshop Trainee to join their North Hertfordshire workshop. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in CAD, casting, and workshop practices while working with award-winning craftsmen.

The ideal candidate will have some jewellery training and a keen interest in jewellery making. You'll support various departments, ensuring exceptional quality and gaining hands-on experience in creating bespoke jewellery.

Please note that the workshop is rural with free parking but not accessible by public transport.

Qualifications

• Completed or near completion of a jewellery qualification or equivalent.
• Practical experience with jewellery casting.
• Training in jewellery CAD software, particularly MatrixGold.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD models using MatrixGold.
• Prepare CAD files and 3D prints for casting.
• Assist with mould preparation and casting processes.
• Support workshop with cleaning and polishing of jewellery.
