A vibrant Sixth Form College in Peacehaven is seeking a Student Wellbeing Advisor to support students with welfare and mental health difficulties and to be part of the safeguarding team. Applicants should hold a minimum of 2 A Levels, alongside English and Maths qualifications. The position is full-time and term-time only, starting as soon as possible with a salary ranging from £28,634 to £31,324 per annum depending on experience.

The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.
We are looking to appoint a self‑motivated and enthusiastic addition to support our Welfare and Skills team to develop and co‑ordinate support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties, along with being a member of the college safeguarding team.
The successful candidate will need to hold a minimum of 2 A Levels, along with English and Maths qualifications. Previous experience of working with young people with administration and confidential capacity are essential along with experience in an educational environment being desirable.

This is a permanent, full‑time, term‑time post commencing as soon as possible with a competitive salary on the SFCA support pay spine.
The salary banding for this post will be 11 – 14 which ranges from £28,634 to £31,324 per annum (pro rata). The actual starting salary for this post is £24,854 but may be negotiated based on experience.
