A local educational institution in Hull is seeking a dedicated Student Welfare Officer to join in December 2025. The role focuses on assisting underachievement by working closely with families and external agencies. Ideal candidates will have experience in supporting students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The position offers a full-time contract with a commitment to excellence in education.
Salary Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540.00 to £32,061.00 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary for this role is £25,520.47
Hull Trinity House Academy are looking to appoint a Student Welfare Officer to join our academy in December 2025 on a fulltime, permanent basis.
As a Student Welfare Officer, you will assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents/carers, students and external agencies in a school context to enable students, particularly the most disadvantaged to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation. You will work directly with families in a non-judgemental way empowering them and their family to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.
