Job summary

All Saints Academy is seeking a Student Support Worker on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role is 37 hours per week, term time only, with an annual salary of £22,275–£22,628.

The post involves supporting students in developing skills to become independent learners, reporting to the Deputy SENDCo, and contributing to safeguarding and welfare commitments within the school.

• Attend IEP/Annual Review meetings as required and form good relationships with students and their parents/carers.
• Identify specific support needed for students by assessing reading, spelling and numeracy abilities; be patient, supportive and motivate learners.
• Support the development of independent learning skills in students.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Deputy SENDCo and will be responsible for supporting students of All Saints Academy in developing the skills required to become independent learners.
