Job description

Position Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Part-time Contract Term: Permanent

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only

(Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm)

Payscale: Scale 4-5, Spine points 8-13

If so we are looking for a Student Support Officer to join our forward-thinking team. Experience is preferred, but training can be offered for the right candidate.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Student Support Officer who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their involvement with pastoral support and have a firm belief in the potential of all students.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Believes that every student, regardless of their background or need, can make outstanding progress.
  • Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and wellbeing with staff, students, parents, governors and the local community.

The ideal candidate will be able to display dynamism and determination.
