Job description

We seek colleagues to join our large student development team. You will work within our Learning Resource Centre and social spaces to facilitate a purposeful and safe environment for all. You will supervise our learners across both open access and library areas ensuring their considerate use at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise learners across open access and library areas, ensuring respectful use of spaces.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to maintain a safe and purposeful learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Good standard of education including GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
  • Ability to relate to and work with young people in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Previous experience of working in a student supervisory role, ideally with 16‑19‑year‑olds.

Working Hours and Salary
  • Post 1: 37 hours (8 am‑4 pm Monday‑Thursday and 8 am‑3:30 pm Friday Term Time only + 5 days).
  • Post 2: 30 hours (7:45 am‑2:15 pm Monday‑Friday Term Time only + 5 days).
  • Salary: Grade B, points 3‑6, £24,759‑£25,558 pro rata.
  • Status: Permanent.
