We are inviting applicants for the Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse role within school health nursing in Oxfordshire commencing January 2026. The role is fixed term for 12 months full time and will include both academic studies (online) and working alongside your Practice Supervisor and Clinical Education Lead in placement with school aged children. This includes but not limited to, providing public health related care to support in areas such as safeguarding, emotional health, sexual health and physical health, alongside supporting schools to deliver personal, health and social education, and managing medical conditions in schools. When in placement, you will work with the 0-19 team supporting locality wide work where needed for school aged children and young people. The role involves working in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools and statutory and voluntary services and other partner agencies to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.
