Job summary

Access Education Group is seeking a friendly Learner Services Advisor to join our Plymouth team. You will be the first point of contact for learners, guiding them through course information, enrolment, and support services.

The role spans 40 weeks (38 term time + 2 weeks) with pro-rata pay and a contract running from 1 September 2026 to 16 July 2027. A proactive, well-organised approach is essential to support learner wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

Experience in learner support or admin within the education sector.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with learner management systems is beneficial.
Commitment to safeguarding learners.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for learners, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Provide guidance on course information, enrolment procedures, and learner support services.
Assist with registration, attendance tracking, and documentation management.
Collaborate with academic and support teams to address learner needs and welfare concerns.
Maintain accurate learner records in line with GDPR and policies.
Organise learner events, workshops, and induction activities to promote engagement.
