We are seeking a Student Safety Officer on a full or part time contract during term time.

Peter Symonds is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which is proud to be rated by Ofsted as 'outstanding' in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

We seek to recruit someone on a full or part time term contract who will work as a Security Officer (known as the Student Safety Officer) patrolling the College grounds and buildings to provide a visible and reassuring security presence, monitoring student behaviour and being alert to any problems. Physically fit to be outside and on your feet in all weathers, you will have an empathy with the needs and interests of young people, with the confidence to assert your authority when necessary. Previous experience in security work is not essential.
