We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Student Recruitment & IAG Officer to deliver an outstanding recruitment and onboarding experience for prospective and current students across Inspire Education Group (IEG). In this key role, you'll be the first point of contact for future students, supporting them throughout their entire journey-from first enquiry to positive destinations after college.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Student Recruitment & Onboarding: Deliver a first-class customer experience at every touchpoint, treating all enquiries as future enrolments.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment activities such as open days, school visits, exhibitions, and taster sessions.
- Support the full admissions process, including interviews, tutor meetings, and ongoing communication with applicants and their families.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Safeguarding, Finance, ALS) to ensure tailored support for applicants with additional needs.
Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG)
- Provide impartial, high-quality advice to help students choose the right courses based on their skills, aspirations, and achievements.
- Stay up to date with the latest in funding, career pathways, and college support options to ensure accurate guidance.
- Collaborate with the careers team and other support services to deliver holistic, student-centred support.
Bursary & Transport Administration
- Accurately assess bursary and transport applications, ensuring students receive the support they need.
- Help manage appeals and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant funding regulations and eligibility criteria.
Data, Enrolment & Process Improvement
- Process enrolments and analyse application data to help maximise student numbers.
- Provide administrative support to curriculum and support teams during enrolment periods.
- Contribute to improvements in systems and processes to enhance the student experience and support IEG's strategic goals.
Requirements
- Strong administrative and customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and IT skills
- Ability to provide empathetic, non-judgmental advice and guidance
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development
- Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
- Willingness to work towards a Level 3 IAG/Administration qualification if not already held
Desirable
- Experience in post-16 education
- Familiarity with student record systems and funding mechanisms
- Knowledge of bursaries, loans, and transport processes in an educational setting
