Job summary

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) invites applications for a Student Recruitment Coordinator (Uggla Family Scholars Programme). This role focuses on promoting the programme to prospective students and providing information, guidance and support to enquires and applicants across the admissions process.

You will build relationships with teachers and advisers, plan and deliver recruitment activities, and develop the pre-arrival journey for Uggla scholars while collaborating

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and guidance to enquirers and applicants; support students through the admissions process.

• Plan, deliver and attend recruitment and outreach activities across LSE; contribute to the pre-arrival journey for Uggla scholars; collaborate with Recruitment and Admissions colleagues.

Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance

The Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team has primary responsibility for:

• Student Recruitment – Delivery of activities that will achieve application targets for Home and International recruitment in line with the School’s strategic objectives.
• Study Abroad and Exchanges – Management of the School’s year-long study abroad programme (The General Course) and the Global Opportunities (GO) LSE student exchange programme.

The Uggla Family Scholars Programme is a scholarship programme that provides financial, educational and professional support to up to ten exceptional LSE undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds each year.

The Student Recruitment Coordinator (Uggla Family Scholars Programme) will promote LSE and the Uggla Family Scholars Programme to prospective students. The role involves providing information, advice and guidance to enquirers and applicants; developing relationships with teachers and advisers so that they can support students and raise awareness of the programme; and planning, delivering and attending recruitment and outreach activities. The postholder will also develop the pre-arrival journey for Uggla scholars and work closely with colleagues across LSE’s Recruitment and Admissions.
