Job summary

BRIDGWATER & TAUNTON COLLEGE is recruiting for an Additional Learning Support role to provide inclusive support across the College for full and part-time learners. The team supports about 1,000 students with diverse needs, including SEMH and disabilities, ensuring equal access to the curriculum.

The post involves specialist teaching, in-class support, small-group workshops, equipment support, counselling and mentoring, plus exam access arrangements as part of a dedicated ALS unit.

Qualifications

• Support learners with additional learning needs including SEMH and complex behaviours.
• Collaborate with Foundation Learning and Cross College staff to tailor support programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional learning support across College for learners on courses of all levels.
• Deliver specialist and in-class support and small group workshops as required.
• Assist with equipment, counselling and mentoring services where needed.
