Unite Group is seeking an Operations Assistant to help create a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for residents and visitors at our Unite Students or Hello Student properties in Bristol. You will be the friendly face of the building, handling enquiries, facilitating check-ins and viewings, and supporting events to ensure a smooth day-to-day resident experience.

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people and deliver great customer experiences.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable in a busy, varied environment.
• Confident handling enquiries, complaints and resident requests.
• Experience in student accommodation, hospitality or residential environments is beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
• Support the full resident journey, including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support.
• Deliver property viewings and support bookings to drive occupancy and retention.
• Support resident engagement activities to create a welcoming community.
• Respond to maintenance issues, raise requests for resolution and ensure safety.
• Carry out building checks and support safety procedures to keep the property compliant.
• Support emergency procedures when required and help maintain high property standards.
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems.

Operations Assistant

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for our residents and visitors.

Working as part of the property team, you'll be the friendly face of the building-supporting residents, responding to enquiries, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly day to day. From check-ins and viewings to resolving issues and supporting events, you'll be central to delivering a great resident experience.

This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days are the same, and where your work helps create a vibrant and supportive student community.

Your impact

Whilst no two days are the same at Unite Group, here's a flavour of what you'll be responsible for in this role:

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues
• Support the full resident journey, including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support

• Support resident engagement activities, helping create a welcoming and vibrant community
• Respond to maintenance issues, making safe where required and raising requests for resolution
• Carry out building checks and support safety procedures, ensuring the property remains safe and compliant
• Support emergency response procedures when required
• Maintain high property standards, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well presented
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems

Your background

You don't need to follow a traditional path – what matters most is your passion for customer service and your ability to connect with people.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience in a customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Enjoy working with people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be proactive, organised and comfortable working in a busy and varied environment.
• Be confident handling enquiries, complaints and resident requests.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting colleagues when needed.
• Experience in student accommodation, hospitality or residential environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.
