A secondary education institution in Luton is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage student recruitment and retention. The role requires excellent administrative and customer service skills, focusing on delivering high-quality services to students and stakeholders. Continual support for marketing and public relations activities is involved. The position offers a competitive salary package with annual increments based on service and performance criteria.
Working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 16:00pm, for the full year. A degree of flexibility is required. Some evening working is required. You will be focused on the delivery and development of a highly effective admissions applicant service and retention functions, one that is responsive to the evolving needs of identified target audiences (e.g., new and continuing students, schools, parents, internal staff), grounded in the principles of customer service, high-level administration excellence and the values of the college, including:
Has excellent administrative, record keeping, organisational and IT skills. Has experience of providing high quality customer service and using customer service strategies and techniques in meeting key targets. Has exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
