This isn't a standard student/membership services role in a standard Students' Union (if there is such a thing!)It really is a role that offers the opportunity to get stuck into everythingand to give new things a go.
Working closely with the Director, you'll be involved inall aspects of RAUSU life. You'll need to be comfortableworking operationally, strategicallyand at pace. No two days are the same and you'll need to be ready to pivot from one thing to the next.
Working with students can be both hugely rewarding and, at times, demanding. The Union and our students are on a journey and we're looking for someone who is comfortable navigating change, responds positively to unexpected challenges and adaptstheir approach as needed. You don't need to have all the answers, we're looking for someone who ishappy to just get stuck in and get stuff done.
We're open to all backgrounds and experiences. You might have worked in oneor more areasin another Students' Unionand be looking for your next challenge or you might have developed your skills elsewhere.
If you’re excited to work out what good looks like in a modern Students' Union within a small and specialist agricultural University, are comfortable working with ambiguity and competing priorities and want to make a difference from day one, we’d love to hear from you.
Interview expenses can be reimbursed in line with the Union's expenses policy.
