Job summary

Barnet and Southgate College is seeking a Student Engagement Assistant to provide a front line service for students from Admissions to the Learning Resource Centres, across multiple campuses. You will build rapport with students and use digital systems to support enrolment and resource location, with safeguarding and student welfare at the core.

The role requires a student-centred approach, a commitment to removing barriers to a positive student experience, and the ability to work flexibly

Student Engagement Assistant

Description

Successful applicants will provide an essential front line service for students from Admissions to the Learning Resource Centres (LRC’s). The ability to build a rapport with all students alongside a capacity to use a range of digital systems to either aid a successful enrolment or locate necessary resources in the LRC for a student is essential. Previous experience of aspects of this service is essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a student centred approach, aiming to remove barriers to ensure a comprehensive positive student experience.
