HotelCare are recruiting Student Accommodation Cleaners to maintain clean, hygienic living spaces for students. You will clean bedrooms, shared facilities and communal areas to ensure readiness for new or returning students.

Work within a supportive team, with attention to detail and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Training is provided and on-site duties. This role involves weekends and variable hours depending on occupancy.

Formación

• Preferred experience in cleaning, housekeeping or similar roles.
• Hospitality environment experience (student accommodation/hotels) is advantageous.
• Physical ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Clean student bedrooms and change bed linen where required.
• Clean communal areas including kitchens, bathrooms and corridors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces, toilets, showers and mirrors.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Deep clean during student check-in and check-out periods.

Job Overview:

Working within student accommodation, you will be responsible for cleaning bedrooms, communal areas and shared facilities to ensure they are ready for students to move in or return to. This may include routine cleaning during the academic year, as well as deep cleaning and preparing accommodation during student changeover periods. You will be part of a supportive team, working efficiently and paying close attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the accommodation

Key Responsibilities

• Clean student bedrooms and change bed linen where required.
• Clean communal areas, including kitchens, bathrooms and corridors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces, toilets, showers and mirrors.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Carry out deep cleaning during student check-in and check-out periods.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any damage or maintenance issues.
• Follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Respect students' privacy and work well independently and as part of a team.

Person specification

Experience

• Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping or similar role is desirable. Experience in student accommodation, hotels, residential buildings or other hospitality environments would be an advantage.
