Site Agent – Structural / Concrete Repairs (England)

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent on behalf of a market-leading specialist structural / concrete repairs contractor for works across England. The company is an industry leader in their field, delivering solutions on bridges and structures nationwide. Their specialisms include bridge jacking, bearing replacement, bridge decking upgrades, mechanical movement joints, parapet renewals, expansion joints, and general concrete repairs and waterproofing. Projects fall within highways, rail, nuclear and more, with project values up to £10m.

They operate as part of a larger Tier 1 company group with a turnover of £3bn+ meaning significant financial backing, security and an emphasis on staff development. The contractor’s extensive pipeline across several sectors requires key staff across UK offices. This role offers opportunities for chartership (if desired) and additional industry certificates, with progression to Project Manager and other routes on offer. It is a nationwide role requiring regular travel away from a base office.

Duties
  • Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
  • Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
  • Write and adjust Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Prepare progress reports and attend meetings with senior management and client.
  • Order materials for site and manage supply chain.
  • Maintain daily site diaries.
  • Manage specialist sub‑contractors.
Experience Required
  • Experience in the management of structural repair/concrete repair projects.
  • Experience with technical bridge/structure projects.
  • Ability to write RAMS independently and undertake daily management.
  • Ability to manage project costs and on‑ground delivery at all stages.
Qualifications
  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
  • Degree or HNC/HND qualification is beneficial.
Remuneration

On offer is a salary of up to £55,000 (DOE) plus a generous package including car or allowance, pension, private health care, death in service benefit, annual leave and more.
