Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a UK structural design office.
  • Experience in RC detailing preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.

Responsibilities

  • Creating accurate detailing in structural steelwork, concrete, and masonry.

Job description

A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Structural Revit Technician to join their growing design team. This role is perfect for someone with proven experience in a UK structural engineering design office who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You’ll work closely with engineers on a wide range of projects from healthcare and education to commercial, industrial and development schemes. Gaining exposure to complex design challenges while being supported toward chartered TIStructE status.

Responsibilities
  • Producing high-quality drawings and technical information using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Creating accurate detailing in structural steelwork, concrete, and masonry
  • Delivering GA drawings, sections, details and 3D models
  • Working within defined BIM protocols and project timescales
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure fully co-ordinated designs
Requirements
  • ONC/HNC in Building Structures or Civil Engineering (or equivalent - preferred)
  • Proven experience in a UK structural design office
  • Strong proficiency in Revit Structures and AutoCAD
  • Experience in RC detailing (preferred)
  • Knowledge of structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
  • Experience working on new builds, refurbishments and extensions to large buildings
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong communication skills
