Are you a seasoned financial planning professional looking for a role where your expertise truly makes a difference? This Senior Advice Technician position offers the chance to influence advice quality, support advisers on complex cases, and help deliver outstanding client outcomes.

What you will be doing
  • Collaborating with advisers on intricate financial planning cases to achieve the best possible solutions.
  • Applying sound judgement to high‑risk advice files, safeguarding both clients and the firm.
  • Handling advanced technical queries and researching thoroughly to provide accurate, informed responses.
  • Supporting audits and contributing to improvements in advice and regulatory processes.
  • Training and induction for new team members, sharing knowledge to develop others.
Requirements
  • Essential: Chartered Financial Planner status or close to completion; strong understanding of personal and corporate financial planning principles and FCA regulations; proven experience reviewing adviser case files and providing constructive feedback; ability to make confident, well‑informed decisions on complex or high‑risk cases.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in mentoring or training; familiarity with Microsoft Office, cash‑flow modelling tools, and research systems.
Location & Working Hours

Meet candidates within commuting distance of Bromsgrove. 28.8 hours per week (4 days), 52 weeks per year.

Salary

£24,569 – £26,114 per annum (including London weighting).
