ION Glass is seeking an experienced Structural Glass Installer / Fitter to join our West Sussex-based installation team and work on prestigious heritage and listed properties across the UK.

You will install bespoke structural and architectural glass, read technical drawings, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship while travelling to projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing structural and architectural glass.
• A thorough knowledge of structural glass assemblies, fittings and hardware.
• The ability to read and work accurately from technical drawings.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• A careful and methodical approach when handling and installing glass.
• An appreciation of the care required when working in heritage, historic and listed buildings.
• Professional and well-presented in clients' homes and high-profile projects.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person or larger team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training.
• A current full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Fit a wide variety of structural and architectural glass products and assemblies.
• Work with structural glass and hardware, maintaining precision and care.
• Installations often take place in heritage or listed properties, respecting historic materials.
• Deliver high-quality installations with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Travel to projects across the UK from the West Sussex base.
