Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer for a role in Manchester with a clear path to Associate through funded chartership. The position offers £40,000–£45,000 salary, £50k OTE, training, progression and a hybrid working pattern.

You will work on large-scale projects across residential, industrial, historic buildings and infrastructure, performing structural analysis, developing designs in Revit/ Tekla / AutoCAD and liaising with internal and client teams.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale structural projects is required.
• Ability to perform stress/structural calculations and assessments.
• Proficiency with design tools AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit is expected.

Structural Engineer (Funded Chartership / Progression to Associate)

Are you a Structural Engineer looking to join a specialist consultancy in a period of development and growth offering a position with autonomy, a wide range of training, clear scope for progression, and opportunities to be put through your chartership, fully funded?

Are you looking for a flexible role, including flexi-hours and hybrid work, as you build your portfolio working on a range of complex and interesting projects across a multitude of sectors, overseeing all elements from cradle to crave?

In this role you will work on large scale residential, complex industrial architecture, historical buildings, railways and infrastructure, sports stadiums, and more. You will be involved in the stress and structural calculations, assessing design and requirements, whilst liaising with internal and external teams, with occasional client site visits.
