Structural Engineer (Progression to Associate) – £50,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid + Progression + Training + Company Benefits

Are you a Structural Engineer or similar looking for the opportunity to progress your career, becoming a key decision maker in a role that offers autonomy, responsibility and recognition for your technical prowess?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established engineering consultancy with nearly 35 years in business. They work with multiple clients across industrial, commercial and residential properties, and cover Structural, Civil, SuDS/SAB and Highway solutions.

As an experienced Structural Engineer, you'll lead project delivery, ensure structural integrity and design innovation, oversee the team's work, and collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals. You'll manage client communication with confidence. The role is on a Monday to Friday basis with the opportunity to work from home after probation.

This role would suit a Structural Engineer looking to progress into an associate position, with the chance to become a key decision maker as well as a technical expert.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and calculations for various structural projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Manage our internal project team and provide guidance and direction to Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
• Collaborate with Clients, project managers and the wider design team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Manage project delivery time and budgets.
• Attend design/site team meetings.
• Perform site visits and inspections.
• Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices.
