Overview

Structural Design Engineer - Heritage and Conservation Projects • Permanent • Central London • £38,000 - £48,000 + annual bonus (10%) + benefits

This established, prestigious Central London consultancy requires a Structural (Conservation) design Engineer to join the well-established and expanding Heritage team.

Responsibilities

• Work on heritage sector projects including refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive re-use, with a focus on both existing and new build projects.
• Apply a strong theoretical and practical background in all structural materials to deliver design solutions for a variety of projects in the heritage sector.
• Collaborate with team members and external consultants on project delivery and coordination.
• Participate in a full training programme at the practice to help achieve chartership and CARE accreditation.
• Contribute to projects with values up to £50 million across London and the South East, in a relaxed studio environment with a hybrid WFH policy.

Qualifications &Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Structural Consultancy experience.
• A demonstrable passion for the heritage sector.
• A strong theoretical and practical background in all structural materials relevant to existing and new build projects in refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive re-use.
